It is necessary to understand the roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders within the project framework. The interests, power and influence are different for each stakeholder, and it is imperative to assess and analyze these factors as project leads embark on the journey of leading projects.
Stakeholders must be identified; their roles and responsibilities and preferences must be assessed in the initial phases of the project. This information enables the project lead to effectively coordinate teams, thus leading to a project success. This short module will focus on identifying stakeholders, assigning roles and responsibilities, performing stakeholder analysis, and understanding their expectations. This information gathered can help in monitoring teams effectively and efficiently.
