Managing Lean and Continuous Improvement Projects: A structured Lean Six Sigma Approach to finding root causes of everyday opportunities.
Opportunities to deliver quality service and products are innumerable in all organizations. These opportunities become projects - big and small that are planned and executed.
Continuous Improvement project execution involves a significant overlap of Lean Six Sigma and Project Management tools and methodologies. The challenge that most Green belts and Black belts encounter is in the use of the right project management tools to successfully maneuver through the implementation, followed by appropriate control measures to sustain the improvements. Most often some of these critical aspects in managing Lean Six Sigma projects are overlooked resulting in unsatisfactory execution and implementation that ultimately can lead to customer dissatisfaction.
