Socializing in the workplace can develop positive working relationships and a culture of trust, as well as boost job satisfaction; but business socialization has its own set of rules and practices. This workshop provides suggestions for managing healthy socializing and etiquette in your workplace.

Learning Outcomes

  • The role socialization plays in an engaged and productive workplace, including post-COVID considerations.
  • How to spot and manage the risks posed by staff social interactions.
  • How and when to draw boundaries when it comes to socializing in the workplace.
  • Practical tips to help navigate sticky interpersonal situations with confidence and ease and suggestions for improving your, and your team’s, social skills and business etiquette.

Who Should Attend?

Aspiring leaders of people or supervisors, managers, leaders in any role that is responsible for results.

This two-hour, live-online course (.20 CEUs) can be combined with two additional mini course modules to become the equivalent of one leadership elective for certificate courses in the Professional Development Programs
