This self-paced introductory course is Level Three of a full Volunteer Management micro-credential. You have completed the first two Introductory Volunteer Management courses and are now heading into the third, which focuses on applying the competencies in your own setting.
In Level 1, you were introduced to the seven competencies of managing people–some of the core activities required of volunteer managers. In Level 2, you took a deeper dive into each competency and demonstrated your ability to explain and understand the skills required. In Level 3, you will be asked to complete a volunteer management experience in which you will demonstrate proficiency in three of the seven volunteer management skill sets.
We strive to make this course accessible and affordable for everyone. The course fee covers some administrative expenses, but may still prove to be a barrier to some.
