What are the consequences of a breakdown in communication in your line of work? Whether sharing information in person or virtually, our ability to truly understand what others tell us rests with one key skill: Active Listening. Using active listening techniques can help you support your team, build and maintain relationships, solve problems, make better decisions, improve processes, and retain information.

- Explain the critical difference between active and passive listening behaviors.
- Recognize the barriers to active listening.

- Maintain an open mind while receiving information from others.
- Build stronger relationships based on more authentic communication.
