At some point, every leader has to contend with sub-standard performance. Why do some employees fail to do what's expected of them and what action can you take to correct the situation? During this workshop learn a step-by-step approach to effectively manage poor performance and create stronger accountability. Discuss and practice strategies to deal with problem performance and behavior.

  • Identify cues for sub-optimal performance and corrective action.
  • Define a step-by-step process for dealing with poor performance.
  • Create greater accountability in performance.
  • Practice the corrective action interview.

This program is designed for entry- to mid-level supervisors and managers, small business owners, technical staff, and individuals interested in leadership roles.

This workshop is part of the Supervision Certificate: Individual Format. Stepping Up to Supervisor followed by Using Feedback Effectively are prerequisites for all other workshops in the Supervisory Certificate: Individual Format. This course is 6.0 hours long (.6 CEUs)
