Family-owned businesses face a unique blend of opportunity and complexity—where professional roles overlap with personal relationships, decision-making is shaped by legacy as much as strategy, and formal systems often grow faster than the structures meant to support them. This three-part professional development course is designed for individuals who work in or with family-owned enterprises and want practical tools, peer insight, and a trusted space to build skills specific to this environment.
Across three interactive, two-hour sessions, participants will develop both technical and interpersonal competencies essential to managing people, processes, and conflict in family-run organizations. The course blends applied frameworks, real-world scenarios, and facilitated discussion, culminating in a capstone project where participants work directly on a live challenge from their own organization.
Just as importantly, this course creates a cohort-based learning community—giving participants access to shared experience, perspective, and professional networks that are often harder to find within family enterprises.
