Targeted at those entering an MBA or other professional studies programs, this course will introduce you to "the language of business". You will engage with the financial and managerial elements of the accounting system and learn how organizations use financial information to inform decisions being made throughout the company. Topics covered in this course include the composition and presentation of the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Equity, and Statement of Cash Flows. It also includes a module on basic financial statement analysis.
