Times of Covid, global unrest, environmental disruption and racial trauma, heighten the spread of collective trauma. Over half of the World’s children do not have access to a healthy development. Trainees, from all sectors of the public, will learn the current approach in supporting respect, safety, humility and compassion into the systems influencing the future Develop skills in collective trauma-informed compassion, intercultural humility, community building, and communication.
This training is helpful across all backgrounds and experiences. It speaks to humans finding new ways to listen to and understand each other.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course participants will be able to:
• Gain practical insights into trauma-informed approaches to foster belonging
• Acquire personal and professional strategies for building sustainable resilience amidst challenges and adversities
• Enhance awareness of cross-cultural considerations, emphasizing practical skills for effective engagement across diverse backgrounds.
• Practice techniques for cultivating compassion, cultural humility, and emotional intelligence.
Whether at work or in the home, participants will learn to apply skills in their own lives and work, allowing for more balance and ease in communication and leadership across differences.
Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for people from all backgrounds and experiences, but especially those in the field of business, education, healthcare, or community service. The learning is adaptable to all ranges of professional career paths, including volunteering and parenting. There are no prerequisite skills or experience necessary.

This 8 hour live-online course (.80 CEUs) can serve as one leadership elective for certificate courses in the Professional Development Programs.
