Beginning July 1, Maine’s public universities will provide ChatGPT Edu to all University of Maine System faculty, staff, and matriculated students as part of a system-wide commitment to prepare students for the workforce and strengthen operational efficiency, innovation, and impact across Maine.

The Maine Center will support the University of Maine System’s launch of ChatGPT Edu with free professional development for faculty and staff in the coming year.
