Session Description

This session builds on the “Beyond the Prompt” foundation by moving from general agentic AI concepts into hands-on practice with Claude Cowork/Code. Participants will explore how Claude can use files, folders, and project context to support multi-step work, including documentation, analysis, troubleshooting, revisions, and other project-based tasks.

Through live, instructor-led demonstrations, participants will learn how to structure effective requests, define goals and constraints, guide Claude through iterative work, and evaluate its outputs before using them. The session emphasizes Claude Cowork/Code as a project collaborator: useful for accelerating work, but still dependent on human direction, review, and judgment.

Participants will leave with a practical understanding of when Claude Cowork/Code is a good fit, where it requires caution, and how to use review checkpoints, data-security awareness, and clear guardrails to keep AI-assisted work aligned with institutional needs.
